My Creative Space Thursday

Back into the craft room for my creative space this week.....
At this rate, it looks like I'll be able to finish Peanut's quilt in no time!! Mrs Badskirt has been pushing me to "let loose" with my quilting (I do have a tendency to be a bit of a perfectionist in regards to things lining up or matching exactly).
I'm quite proud to say that I think I have let loose on this one (for me anyway) and I am soooo happy with how it's turning out.
This "wonky log cabin" pattern is so much fun to do, and just has so much freedom. I LOVE it. I can feel a few more quilts like this coming on - I might even start to sell them on Etsy soon!! :)

Can we call you a "loose woman" now? =) I think they are turning out great. I love the asymmetry and rotation in them. Can't wait to see them put together. Are you going to sash them or just randomly connect them?

love that pattern too. I'm making a quilt with that pattern, but using chenille. it seems to be working really well! love the tape measure fabric too!

I love that green and pink floral fabric you've used - it's beautiful.

I absolutely love the lopsidedness of these. I am a bit like you everything has to line up exactly but these look really good. I might just have to drag out the patchwork stuff again.

Oh I do get it. I like a lot of order and balance in things too. Those blocks show a good 'let go' energy.
