New Craft Space

Well, I guess it serves me right....after whinging about my old craft room, I have now discovered that my NEW craft room is a LOT smaller than what I had before!!
I have set it up in the spare room, on Mr Honi's old desk (he was very kind and let me use it). It will be a bit cramped, but at least I have my own little space.
Now all I need to do it get craftin!
ps- Excuse the mess - we're still in unpacking mode!

Complete Beautifulness...

This is my DREAM craft room! an Entire room full of goodness (not one filled with a couch, 2 work desks, and other junk that doesn't have a home in the house- see below for my craft room madness!!!)
Look at the colour coordinated sewing threads, textas and paints! (i have a thing for colour coordinating things). The clear bench space and organised walls.

Over at Design*Sponge they have featured the home of shauna alterio & stephen loidolt of "something's hiding in here". Not only do I love their work, and their home but I seriously love their house, and I am in complete ENVY of their Deer Collection!

Mr Honi said I could never have a Craft room like that because a) I horde too much stuff and b) I'm not the best at being tidy. Guess he's right.

But I am looking forward to setting up the new place this weekend! Have had a massive clean out and found a heap of things I forgot I owned! WOO HOO!!

RIP darling camera

My sadness is overwhelming dear camera. We've shared some great times together you and I. You entered my world one magical Christmas and we've been inseparable since. It's sad that you had to leave me in such a tragic way.

As you slipped from my hands to fall to your death on the cold hard concrete below, our times together flashed before my eyes. When I heard your beautiful LCD screen crack, I knew those times were over.

Please don't be sad when I replace you - there will never be another like you.

So for now dear bloggers, lurkers etc, you will have to be satisfied with dodgy "Microsoft Paint" pictures and blurry mobile phone images until I have enough cash to buy a new camera!

Moving, Packing, Stressing

...Someone wanted to help mummy pack last night!
(oh god, I've turned into one of those sad people who call their animals their children. But she kinda is my baby!!)

Anyway, I think she can sense that we're moving and that I'm a little worked up right now. She was super cute yesterday and refused to get out of the box all night except when I sat on the couch to watch "Ladette to Lady"...gosh i love that show!

On Quilting news, I have cut out another 68 squares my quilt. Why is it that I can never find time to do quilting, but when I have to pack I manage to find time to quilt and craft??? Methinks I am procrastinating to avoid packing.....BUT I only have a few more weeks to finish it before Winter ends (which was my goal!)

Will post pics tomorrow :)

...inspired by this lovely gal at "Ethel Loves Fred" i've decided to show you a glimpse into my life 10 years ago...
....I was at uni studying a BA and was in continual party mode as you can see from this pic –I’m on the left with a drink and smoke in hand. Tre Classy.
It was a great time in my life with good friends and fun times. Don’t think I could keep up with that lifestyle these days – but I am definitely a lot happier with the wonderful life I have now :)

New Game- 30 Days of Numbers

Well, I have been dying to get back into blogging but with work, trying to find a new house to live in and wedding planning i really haven't found the time! Plus my crafty side is sufferring badly and I seem to be going through a very non-creative lull. I think of all these great ideas when I'm on the bus or in a meeting, then I forget all about them by the time I get home and collapse on the couch!

HOW TO PLAY
Anyway, I have decided to start a new game (although there are LOTS going round at the moment.) It will take 30 days, and each day you need to post a picture that represents the number of the day. It can be your own picture, or one from Flickr or wherever.

30 Days of Numbers
DAY ONE

One large, old, massively huge tree in the Blue Mountains.

Anyone can play if you want to - if you do play leave me a comment and I will list you on a blog roll. Enjoy!!
